Software Student Assistant

Your key responsibilities will involve: As our new Software Engineering Student, you will play a key role in supporting our developers and enhancing the efficiency of our software development processes. As part of this position, you will work closely with developers to automate tasks, streamline workflows, and improve debugging tools. Your contributions will help reduce manual effort, improve productivity, and ensure faster, more accurate testing and implementation procedures.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Creating Frameworks for Improved Debugging: You will design and implement frameworks to enable more efficient debugging of applications using modern C++.
  • Writing Automation Script for Development and Testing: You will write scripts to support both the development and testing phases. Primarily working in a Linux environment, using scripting languages such as Bash, Python, and Perl. Thus, supporting integrating test automation and continuous integration tools while following agile development principles.

In this role, you will contribute to a smoother, more efficient development cycle, aligning with the principles of DevOps to ensure continuous improvement in our engineering processes.

Your skills and qualifications will preferably include:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field such as Software Engineering, Computer Science, Network Technology, or equivalent.
  • Hands-on experience developing software in a Linux environment.
  • Skills in debugging and troubleshooting applications.
  • Knowledge of modern C++.
  • Familiarity with scripting languages like Bash, Python, and Perl.
  • Basic knowledge of agile development methodologies, test automation, and continuous integration (DevOps).
  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.

We estimate that you will be working 15 hours/week with the opportunity to work more hours if desired. The position will be located in Lyngby at our Headquarters.
