Global Marketing Manager
Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Global (Senior) Marketing Manager to lead part of our marketing initiatives across all channels. This role is critical in developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies aimed at enhancing brand visibility and driving customer engagement, directly contributing to of our ambitious growth targets. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in marketing complex technical products and solutions in a fast-paced industry, with the ability to translate business challenges into effective marketing programs.
To excel in this role, you must thrive in a lean and flexible environment, demonstrating a mindset geared towards rapid tactical execution in a sales-orientated setting. This position is based at our headquarters in Lyngby, Denmark.
Key Responsibilities
• Strategic Planning: Develop and implement a strategic and market relevant global marketing plan that aligns with Cobham Satcom’s business objectives
• Tactical Implementation: Take ownership of marketing plans across the organization, focusing on tactical execution to meet defined objectives and KPIs
• Customer and Business Insights: Collaborate with Sales and Product Management to document target audiences and buying personas based on segment insights. Analyze and map buying journeys, including decision-making processes, drivers, and barriers
• Campaign and Field Marketing Management: Design and execute integrated marketing programs that include product launches, digital marketing, social media, email marketing, events, and trade shows, ensuring timely delivery within budget
• Content Development: Lead the creation of compelling marketing content, including collateral, case studies, white papers, and website content, effectively communicating Cobham Satcom’s value proposition and insights into customer needs
• Production and Distribution: Drive and manage production and execution of marketing programs, campaign assets, content deliverables, and field marketing activities, including the creation of sales support and training materials
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
• Experience: Minimum 5 years of hands-on global marketing experience with a focus on B2B marketing, preferably in the technology sector
• Education: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field
• Digital Marketing Expertise: Proven track record of leading digital marketing projects, including the implementation and optimization of digital marketing campaigns, tools and analytics platforms
• Campaign Management: Demonstrated success in launch excellence and creative campaign development
• Adaptability: Ability to navigate in changing business and market conditions, with high levels of flexibility
• Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of marketing to the MilGov segment is a plus
• Ability to prioritize and manage a substantial workload effectively
