Production Engineer

About the position Our Manufacturing Engineering department is looking for a skilled Production Engineer with solid experience in electronics manufacturing, who can act as a technical link between our R&D teams and external EMS partners. You will be working in our internal manufacturing team that is based at our headquarters in Kongens Lyngby, Denmark. This role combines highly technical electrical solutions with international stakeholder management. To succeed in this role, it is therefore important that you have experience of doing both.

As Production Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring stable and efficient production. You will be responsible for translating development projects into reliable manufacturing solutions. Optimization and continuous improvements.

Your main responsibilities will be:

  • Ensure stable operations and support in production across products and technologies
  • Act as the technical link between our R&D department and our EMS suppliers
  • Drive and optimize SMT processes and ensure high quality in production
  • Support the introduction of new products (NPI) and product transfers
  • Contribute to the development, setup, and improvement of test equipment and test stations
  • Participate in ongoing process improvements and ensure documentation in accordance with quality requirements

Your qualifications should ideally be: We imagine that you have a background as an engineer, technician, or similar with a strong focus on electronics. Additional qualifications include:

  • In-depth knowledge of SMT processes
  • +5 years of experience in electronics manufacturing
  • Understanding of and experience with RF circuits/designs+
  • Sigma Green Belt or equivalent experience with systematic improvement tools
  • Hands-on experience from previous roles with production support and collaboration with EMS
  • Familiarity with test stations and LabVIEW
  • Good English skills, both written and spoken

This role also requires some travel in connection with supplier and production support. Expected travel is approx. 20 days a year.
