As a Student Assistant in our Operations Project Management team, you will be at the forefront of innovation, supporting a range of exciting projects that drive our Operations and Manufacturing Engineering initiatives. Your role will immerse you in the entire product lifecycle, allowing you to see how concepts transform into advanced satellite communication terminals and antennas. This hands-on experience will both deepen your technical knowledge and enhance your project management skills as you navigate both the coordination of tasks and engage with diverse stakeholders. Your input will be valuable in advancing impactful projects and driving forward communication technologies.

We are looking for a new student worker, who – amongst other things - will: • Collaborate with Operations Project Managers, assisting with ongoing projects – demonstrate your talent, and you may take on responsibility for smaller projects over time • Collect and organize data from various sources to support the Project Managers in making informed decisions • Co-ordinate and track various projects tasks to ensure timely progress • Prepare flowcharts, reports, presentations, and project documentation to facilitate clear communication • Assist in preparing meeting agendas, capturing minutes, and tracking action items • Follow up on tasks assigned to different stakeholders • Provide support to the Operations Project Management team with various ad-hoc tasks • Assist the VP of Manufacturing Engineering with additional responsibilities as needed

Your skills and qualifications will preferably include: • Currently pursuing a relevant Master’s Degree in a technical or commercial field, such as Industrial Management, Design and Innovation, Manufacturing or Production Engineering, or Business Administration. • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word. • Previous experience with regulatory standards is advantageous, but a keen interest to learn is most important

We estimate that you will be working between 15-25 hours per week. The role will be based at the Cobham Satcom headquarters in Kgs. Lyngby.

Therefore, creative problem-solving must be something that comes naturally to you.
